Colin begins the season with the premiere of John Estacio’s Lillian Alling with Vancouver Opera and then makes a return to Calgary Opera to sing Arturo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor. He’ll sing Belmonte in Edmonton Opera’s production of Die Entführung as dem Serail, Jason in Charpentier’s Medée with Chicago Opera Theater and his debut performance of Schumann’s Dichterliebe at the Arts and Letters Club and Janáček’s Diary of one who disappeared with Off Centre Music. NEW RECORDINGS
A new recording featuring the music of Handel, Haydn and Cherubini, conducted by Nicolas McGegan at the International Handel Festival in Göttingen, Germany, has just been released on the Carus label and a second CD, recorded in Toronto as part of the Ukrainian Art Song Project, is on its way.
